What's your story?
I was born in Sweden and moved to London in 2003. I trained at University of East London before I started my journey at SF studios. I'm proud to say that I have been a part of the SF team since the opening! So I have over 8 years of experience treating patients with musculoskeletal problems and teaching Pilates classes. After the birth of my daughter, my interest in pregnancy, postnatal care and pelvic floor issues grew and these are now the areas in which I specialise- I love it!
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Positive, caring, outgoing yet an introvert.
What do you most value in others?
Honesty, humour, integrity, interested in other peoples stories, authenticity and not taking oneself to seriously.
I seriously eat most things and lots of it... couldn't possibly choose one!
What aspects of your work do you enjoy the most?
There is nothing more fulfilling than to hear
your clients telling you that they have become pain-free or that they are able to do something which prior to treatment they thought was impossible! I adore my team members and love the physical aspect of the job.
What aspects of your work do you enjoy the least?
Like most practical people - Admin!!
Is there anything you preach but don’t practise?
I go on a lot about the importance of drinking water, however I admit I don't drink as much as I should...shame on me!
What was the biggest challenge when you first started?
Confidence in teaching a group class... trembling voice, sweating and blushing!
How did you overcome it?
A few dodgy classes and...practice, practice and practice!
What is success to you?
That the work I do is helping my patients to lead the life they want.
You are responsible for your happiness. In fact, you create it. You attract it. You manifest it. You are the architect of your reality.
