After the first part of his life as an executive in the corporate world and 35 years in contact with China including 10 years living there, he has studied reflexology in the well-known London School of Reflexology. He will be practising reflexology at SF Studios from September onwards.

Reflexology is an ancient non-intrusive natural complementary health therapy, that uses gentle pressure applied on various points of feet and hands to treat the whole body; helping it to relax, to balance and heal itself.

The assessment

This is the first session and the first encounter between the client and the practitioner.
The reflexology assessment session will start by a consultation to review the client’s medical history and current condition. Reflexology takes a holistic approach of the human being and each treatment covers all parts, organs and systems of the body. This initial review is essential to help the therapist understand the overall situation of the client and to design and adjust the treatment plan accordingly.
The whole session will last 60 to 75’ with enough time for the initial consultation and a 40-50’ treatment itself.
At the end of the session, a treatment plan will be proposed to the client.

The follow-up sessions

The reflexology treatment session will start by a brief consultation to review the client’s current condition and possible reactions since last treatment. Reflexology takes a holistic approach of the human being and each treatment covers all parts, organs and systems of the body. This regular review is important to help the therapist understand how the overall situation of the client is evolving, to design the treatment of the day accordingly and adjust the treatment plan if necessary.
The whole session will last 60’ with a 45-50’ treatment itself, some time at the beginning for the consultation and for the client to ‘switch off’ and at the end to debrief on the findings.
During the treatment, all is made to create a quiet and relaxing environment so that the client can let go and fully enjoy the sensations and relaxation from the treatment.

The initial assessment is 75 minutes long, every following session lasts 1 hour.
